In cooperation with chairs of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Marine Technology the following experimental plants are available:
Experimental plants
- Big low-velocity wind tunnel of the Göttingen construction type with a three-axes positioning system and a multi-component balance for force measurements in six axes
- Propeller test stand in the wind tunnel
- Pressure tank up to 600 bar
- Flume tank
- Circulation tank with a four-axes positioning system
- Cavitation tank
- Test tank for density-layered flows with a five-way three-axes positioning system
A 3D-printer with an available space of 300 mm x 300 mm x 600 mm (L x B x H) placed at one’s disposal to the manufacture of models for tests in the experimental plants.
